Gluten-Free Avocado Toast Recipe

Starting off with a healthy and nutritious meal can seem daunting, but don’t worry—it isn’t as hard as it sounds. It may seem like you have limited meal choices when eating gluten-free, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. We’re here to help spice up your morning routine with a new recipe that’ll get you and your family excited!

This gluten-free avocado toast recipe is filling, delicious, and easy to make! Mashed avocado with a hint of garlic powder, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, and a dash of spice from red pepper flakes, make the perfect spread on our Vegan Oat Bread.

  • 2 slices of our Vegan Oat Bread
  • ½ – ¾ of a medium, ripe avocado
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp green onion
  • 1 pinch of red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste

In a mixing bowl, mash avocado with a fork and mix in lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, green onion, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine and set aside.

Toast bread to the desired doneness. Split the avocado mixture into two and spread on each piece of toast. Add fried or scrambled egg if desired. Enjoy!
